A passion for mushroom farming and an uncompromising commitment to high-quality standards for safe and sustainable produce are what set Mr. Wong apart from other producers.
A dedicated and tenacious man, Wong starts his days early, days that are spent meticulously checking on his mushroom crops at the Sri Cemerlang Vegetable Farm, one of the many farms under the JustGood Farm collective.
An advocate of hydroponic technology and vertical farming, Wong has 15 years of experience in organic mushroom cultivation and much like the steady growth of his crops, intends to grow his business to greater heights.
Currently, his greenhouse farm yields one tonne of 100% certified organic premium grey oyster and white mushrooms, daily.
Together with his team of workers, he has set his sights on doubling this daily output of quality organic produce, with an aim to increase local market distribution, and expanding his operations to achieve overseas export in the future.
With the resources, technology and know-how available to Wong and his teams thanks to the JustGood collective, Wong stands to sustain his livelihood of mushroom farming, which will go far in producing quality, safe and traceable produce from Malaysian farms to Malaysian homes.
