Our fresh ingredients are cultivated responsibly and sourced ethically with emphasis on traceability. We are committed to deliver convenience to our customers with a wide selection of everyday consumables and essentials at an affordable price.

Your Account

Account Creation

For our first time shopper, after placing an items from JustGood Grocer into the shopping cart and before paying, you are required to register an account with us by filling up and providing some personal information to us including but not limited to a registered phone number, valid e-mail address, personal data and a valid password. In order for you to have better enjoyment and experience with JustGood Grocer’s services, you must ensure that you keep the combination of these details secure and disclose none of  this information to a third party.

Generally, only one (1) JustGood Grocer account can be created, registered and is allowed for each registered phone number. Additional accounts may be allowed at our sole discretion without any liability to you. Furthermore, the number of devices you may use to log into your JustGood Grocer account may also be subject to limitations set by us from time to time.

When browsing or using our Website and/or App, you agree to provide us with the correct required information and warrant that:

  • the information so provided is correct and complete and you shall inform us immediately in the event there is any changes of the provided information;
  • the credit or debit card details that you provide and submit are for and from your own credit or debit card and that you have sufficient funds to make and settle the payment;
  • You are eighteen (18) years old and above; and
  • the Goods and/or Services is for your own consumption/use and strictly prohibited for resale.

Suspension / Termination of Account

JustGood Grocer has absolute discretion and rights to refuse registration of any account and to terminate the registration of any account for any reason whatsoever. You shall have no rights whatsoever to demand for any explanations from us.

 

We consider, amongst other, the following actions as wrongful use of JustGood Grocer account:

i. Usage of account for any illegal activities that is in breach of and not in compliance with the laws of Malaysia; and/or

ii. Usage of account for commercial or non-domestic purposes; and/or

iii. Usage of multiple JustGood Grocer accounts to abuse JustGood Grocer’s system or promotions; and/or

iv. Creation of account on behalf of another person or entity without their proper and written authorization.

 

In the event that our systems detect:

(i) multiple accounts being linked to your phone number and/or email address;

(ii) wrongful use of JustGood Grocer accounts;

(iii) payment methods that we deem suspicious;

(iv) multiple instances of payment failure; or

(v) any of the information given is incomplete, invalid, false or wrongful, we reserve the right to:

  • Cancel any of your current or future shopping items;
  • Immediately terminate your access to our Services without further reference to you;
  • Suspend your JustGood Grocer account and/or payment accounts indefinitely; and
  • Immediately cease all further communication with you.

 

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your items and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we shall not be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party manage to procure or having unauthorized access to any abovementioned data of yours through or from the Website or App.

Service Availability

JustGood Grocer delivery service is only available at such prescribed delivery area during specific operating hours. The terms and conditions of our delivery service is subject to changes from time to time and at any time for any reasons which may be deemed necessary on our part including but not limited to weather condition, rules and regulations or demand on our service. This is to ensure that we can serve you better, deliver to your door our order at their good quality and constantly improve on our business processes. In the event your area does not fall within our prescribed deliver area or your order does not come within our operating hours or the Application is otherwise unavailable for any reason, you will be notified that such ordering will not be possible.

We shall not be held liable to you for any losses (monetary or otherwise), liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of the actions or consequences or non-availability of our services.

Items, Price and Payment

When an item is selected, checked out and payment is made by you, it shall be deemed that you offer to purchase the selected product(s), quantities, and price in accordance to the Terms and Conditions set here. All items so ordered shall be subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the rights to decline your items in whole, or in part, at any time and without liability or compensation for whatever reason, including but not limited to the following:

  • Out of stock
  • Product no longer available
  • Incorrect product price or quantity listed on the website
  • Unforeseen circumstances

We shall endeavour to ensure all prices, quantity, weight, and details of products appearing on our website to be correct at the time the information was inputted into the system. We reserve the right to amend the prices, quantity, weight, and details of the products without notice. You agree that the price, quantity, weight, and details of the products itemised by you will be based on our prevailing information at the time we receive your items, which may or may not correctly be reflected on our website.

Pictures of product provided on our website are for illustration purposes only and to help and assist you in recognizing the relevant products. Actual product delivered from us and received by you may differ due to a change in packaging or suppliers.  We may seek your consent to substitute a product for another similar product, if the initial product itemised by you is unavailable.

Product Availability

Confirmation e-mail sent by us does not guarantee that all the items you itemised will be available or we will be able to send to you your items, all products displayed on the website are subject to final confirmation of availability on the day the goods are picked for delivery.

In some cases, the product you itemised is NOT described as out of stock during the purchase period, but it may NOT be available during the picking period. We may prioritise the orders by customer. We will notify you via your contact detail as soon as we begin to process your items.

We reserve the absolute right to refuse any items you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or reduce or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per items. These rights and restrictions may include and impose on items placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or items that use the same billing and/or shipping address. If we make a change to or reduce the quantity of or cancel an item placed by you, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the items was made or ordered. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit items that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors and this may cause the non-availability of such items if you happen to place any order for such affected items.

You agree to provide current, complete, precise and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases that are being made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, shipping address credit card numbers and expiration dates so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as and if needed.

Prices, Payment and Offers

All prices the Orders are quoted shall be in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). The prices, unless being otherwise informed, shall be as shown on the Website.  The prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and delivery charges unless the delivery address is not within the delivery area. We reserve the right to review the prices from time to time.

We may operate dynamic pricing some of the time and from time to time. The prices of means and delivery charges may change and vary while you are browsing through the menu, each implementation of dynamic pricing may differ from the other and you are urged to read and understand the relevant policy or procedure or terms and conditions without making personal assumption toward it. As mentioned above, prices are subject to change at any time at our discretion. We reserve the right to charge a service fee (“Service Fee”), which may also be subject to change, for the provision of our services. You will be notified of any applicable Service Fee and taxes prior to your purchase on the checkout page on our Application. Notwithstanding the above, save for apparent pricing mistakes, no changes to the prices will affect existing Confirmed Orders. Payment may also be made by using and applying vouchers or account credit. Use of these is subject to JustGood Grocer’s relevant provision in respect of Voucher and Credit points.

JustGood Grocer reserves the right to offer additional payment methods and/or alter and/or remove existing payment methods at anytime and from time to time in its sole discretion. For your choice to pay via an online payment method, kindly take note that we have engaged a third party service provider(s) for it hence the payment will be processed by them instead of JustGood Grocer. Your credit card / payment information will therefore, with your authorisation and consent, be stored with our third-party payment service provider(s) for future Orders purposes. For clarification purposes, we, JustGood Grocer, do not store any of your credit card or payment information. By clicking to proceed with the online payment, you agree to release us from and we shall not be hold accountable for any unlawful disclosure of your such information by the third party payment service provider(s)

Unless being determined otherwise, online payment is handled exclusively by payment gateway iPay88. You can choose to pay for an Order using any of the different payment methods offered on the Application including Visa/ Master Credit Card, Touch n Go E-wallet, Boost E-wallet, Grabpay, Maybank QR, Unionpay, Alipay, FPX Online Transfer.

You must ensure that you have sufficient funds or credit limit (whichever applicable) in your banking account, your credit and debit card to fulfil payment of an Order. Insofar as required, JustGood Grocer takes responsibility for payments made on our Application in respect of the refunds, chargebacks, cancellations and dispute resolution, provided if reasonable and justifiable and in accordance with these Terms.

After Orders are confirmed, modification is generally not permissible. Should you want to cancel your order, please refer to cancellation policy as provided. For the avoidance of doubt, we shall not be liable or responsible or accountable for the time of an outside delays in outside payment gateway to charge or refund you or if your bank account/credit card has been used in a fraudulent manner.

Delivery

Delivery slots are subject to availability and based on a first-come-first serve basis.

We shall endeavor to deliver our Products within your selected time frame and to the delivery address specified by you, but there will not be any guarantees from us that the delivery time frame can be met as there may be factors not within our control resulting in early or delayed deliveries. We shall not be liable for any deliveries made outside the delivery time frame.

Subject to any laws and regulations, our delivery services is only within Klang Valley, 15km from our fulfillment centre at Batu Caves. However, we shall reserve our rights to notify and inform you earlier if we wish to cancel your items due to our inability to deliver your items to your location. You shall be responsible to notify us immediately for any changes in your delivery address or contact number.

Goods will be sent only to the address provided by you in the ‘Delivery Address’ section before completion of your payment in the checkout cart. Addresses added in either Shopper or Driver Notes or live chat will be considered as invalid and to be disregard and will not be eligible for any deliveries.

Customers are not allowed to change delivery address after the items is confirmed.

Please note that any inaccuracies and/or discrepancies in relation to the delivery address may result in items cancellation. This includes security restriction entering into your area for the timeslot that you have selected.

We shall not be held liable for the deterioration in quality of products when a second or subsequent attempt of such a re-delivery is made.

At the time of delivery, all the product(s) and quantity in the items is/are deemed to be present and accepted by you when you signed off on our copy of sales invoice.

 

  1. Unsuccessful or Failed Deliveries

It is very regretful to inform you that, in the event our attempt delivery is unsuccessful or failed due to any reasons not caused by us, including but not limited to:

(i) no person was present or available to receive the delivery of your Order within ten (10) minutes from the time the Order arrives at your delivery address; or

(ii) despite several attempts to reach you via the phone number provided, you remain uncontactable or to no avail to our delivery mates for ten (10) minutes from the time the Order arrives at your delivery address; or

(iii) lack of appropriate or sufficient access to deliver the Order successfully; or

(iv) lack of a suitable or secure location to leave the Order,

then, we reserve the right and shall be entitled to cancel the Order without refund or any remedy to you. You may contact our customer service via our live chat or hotline should you require any changes to delivery arrangement. Nevertheless, in the event changes to delivery address is not possible on our part for any reasons whatsoever, we reserve the right to proceed to delivery the Order in accordance with your confirmed Order and details provided.

 

  1. Wrong Order, Missing Items, Defective Goods

Upon receipt of your Order, you are advised to check, inspect and examine your items upon delivery. We allow you to reject the following category of defective Goods within the specific time:

  • Perishable Goods and Semi Perishable Goods (example fish, vegetables, dairy products, fruits, bread, onion, potato, pies, cake etc.) – within 12hrs from the delivery date of goods
  • Non Perishable Goods (example canned products, dry goods, toilet paper, detergent, household products etc) – within three (3) days from the delivery date of the Goods.

Please contact wecare@justgoodgrocer.com to assist you in handling the rejected goods.

We reserve the rights to request from you proof of damages, substandard or missing Goods (photograph). All such proof for Perishable Goods and Semi Perishable Goods must be provided to us within twelve hours (12) hours and all such proof for Non Perishable Goods must also be provided to us within three (3) days from the date of Delivery for refunds to be considered.

Refunds will be made at our sole discretion and will only be processed upon our review and successful verification of proof and/or collection of the item(s) from you by our rider. We will provide status update on the refund to you via email as soon as practical.

Cancellation and Refund

Once payment has been made, customer will not be able to cancel the order. Any cancellation may not warrant a refund. 

Please contact us immediately via wecare@justgoodgrocer.com if you wish to address the issue of your order after it has been placed and paid.

We reserve the right to cancel any Order and/or suspend, deactivate, or terminate your account in its sole discretion if it reasonably suspects or detects faudulent behavour or activity associated with your account and/or with your Order.

Refund shall be made in accordance with the following payment method upon placement and/or completion of your items:

Regardless of your payment method, we will notify you via email on the approval of refund and you are advised to check with your issuer bank on the status of refund (each issuer bank will have different time period to reflect the refund sum in the bank account/ statement).  This usually will take up to 7-14 working days

Personal Data

Where we have requested information (such as your name, telephone number, address, email address and other information as required) from you for registration of account, payment of your Order and to ensure Delivery of Goods and Services, you agree to provide accurate and complete information.

You authorize us to collect, use, store or otherwise process your personal information for the purpose stated in Clause xx, verifying your credit or debit card, investigate complaints and suspected suspicious transaction, and improve service usage and for marketing and credit control purposes (the “Purpose”). The Purpose may include the disclosure of your personal information to receive offers and promotions from us or selected third parties or our affiliates from time to time where we believe that the services offered by us or such third parties may be of interest to you or where this is required by law or in order to provide the Delivery of Goods or Service to you. We endeavour to ensure that the information on this Website is always correct. Despite our best efforts, we do not warrant that the Website will always be error-free and that the use of Website will be fit for purpose, timely and that defects will be corrected, and that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the Website and we do not make any warranty whatsoever, whether express or implied, relating to fitness for purpose, or accuracy.

Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing Services or delivering Goods where such failure arises as a result of any act or omission, which is beyond our control such as all overwhelming and unpreventable events caused directly and exclusively by forces of nature that can be neither anticipated, nor controlled, nor prevented by the exercise of prudence, diligence, and care, including but not limited to: war, riot, fire, thunderstorm, lightning flood, earthquake, typhoon, strike, or other natural disaster, impossibility of the use of railways, motor transport or public or private transport, impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications network, civil commotion; compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction and acts of third parties (collectively “Event of Force Majeure”).

If we have contracted to provide identical or similar orders to more than one Customer and are prevented from fully meeting our obligations to you by reason of an Event of Force Majeure, we may decide at our absolute discretion which orders we will fill and to what extent

Prohibited Uses

In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using the site or its content:

(a) for any unlawful purpose;

(b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts;

(c) to violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances;

(d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others;

(e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability;

(f) to submit false or misleading information;

(g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Service or of any related website, other websites, or the Internet;

(h) to collect or track the personal information of others;

(i) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape;

(j) for any obscene or immoral purpose; or

(k) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service or any related website, other websites, or the Internet. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service or any related website for violating any of the prohibited uses.

Limitation of Liability

  1. SECURITY
    We take reasonable precautions and follow industry practices to make sure your personal information is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
  2. COOKIES
    Cookies (being a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your gadgets and stored on your electrical gadgets) are required to use JustGood Grocer. We use cookies to record current session information including the contents of your shopping cart.
  3. By using this site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old in your state or province of residence, or that you are 18 years old in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
  4. We reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions stated herein at any time, so we urge you to review it frequently. Upon the posting of changes an clarifications on our website or Application, they will take effect immediately. If there should be major and material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated.
